In accordance with our Constitution, may we’d like to invite all parents of our young people, leaders and supporters to our family fun day (including BBQ) and Annual General Meeting to be held at the Scout Centre, Lawn Lane on Saturday 12th July 2025 between 12pm and 3pm. We plan an afternoon of fun and games as well as incorporating our AGM at 1.00 pm.
All parents, leaders, team members and supporters are automatically members of our Group Council and it is the responsibility of the body to elect an effective Group Trustee Board. Members of the Trustee Board act as Group Trustees and further details about trustee roles and appointments can be found to the right.
We do hope that you will be able to attend, as your presence will encourage us to continue our work to provide skills for life and help your young people to develop as individuals and become good citizens in our communities.
Please consider taking an effective part in the operation of our Scout Group, and feel welcome to contact me by e-mail or phone if you think you can help and support. It will help us with planning if you can let us know if you and your family will be able to join us. Please confirm to our administrative secretary Sarah by Friday 4th July.
