Dear Families, Helpers and Friends of 2nd Chelmsford Scout Group.
On September the 10th we will be reopening our Scout Centre to the world of Scouting as the new roof is now fitted, and the new lighting is installed. As you can imagine it has been a great upheaval with lots of background work being done, but it is now open and ready to get back to Scouting.
As a way of marking this great news, we have as a group have decided to mark the occasion with a “Grand Reopening BBQ” event in the guise of an afternoon BBQ starting at 12:30 and finishing at 15:00 at the Scout Centre in the garden.
We will supply the Burger and a Sausage in roles (vegetarians please let us know beforehand and we will cater for your needs) so as you can imagine, we need to know numbers so please RSVP using the form below so we can get the food quantities correct. Closing Date is the midnight 2nd of September
On the day we intend to run activities, games in the garden to keep the younger generations happy (and parents may take part too, it’s fun really) and one or two team activities may take place towards the end.
So, hope to see you there on our Grand Reopening BBQ event, weather permitting and if it does rain we will relocate inside to the main hall (Be Prepared…)
