In accordance with our Constitution, may we’d like to invite all parents of our young people, leaders and supporters to our family picnic* and Annual General Meeting to be held at the Scout Centre, Lawn Lane on Saturday 14th September 2024 at 12.00 pm. We plan an afternoon of fun and games as well as incorporating our AGM at 1.00 pm (we aim to finish around 2.30 pm). *Please bring your own picnic (we will provide hot and cold drinks).
All parents, leaders, team members and supporters are automatically members of our Group Council and it is the responsibility of the body to elect an effective Group Trustee Board. Members of the Trustee Board act as Group Trustees and further details about trustee roles and appointments can be found to the right.
We do hope that you will be able to attend, as your presence will encourage us to continue our work to provide skills for life and help your young people to develop as individuals and become good citizens in our communities.
