12 November 2011 - Cubs Help to Plant 300 Trees!
Early on a grey Saturday Morning, a huge team of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Leaders and families gathered to help staff from Chelmsford Borough Council plant 300 trees in the Chelmer Valley Nature Reserve. Several different species of plants were planted to widen the variety of trees in the area. All of the Young People who attended were awarded their Environment Partnership Award. Summer Fete Raises Over £800!
Sunday afternoon saw a fantastic number of young people, parents, families and local people come along to 2nd Chelmsford for an afternoon of games, competitions and stalls. A brilliant total of over £800 was raised during the afternoon, which will be put towards the "floor fund".
4th May 2011 - Sign Up for the Cubs Heptathlon
It's getting closer to our May Garden Fete which takes place on Sunday 15th May (check out our Events page for information). This year, we'll be running a "Cubs Heptathlon" for all under 10's to take part in. For more information, take a look at the poster.
