Cub Scouts at 2nd Chelmsford

Cubs is the second section of the Scouting movement, aimed at both boys and girls aged between 8½ and 10½ years old. At 2nd Chelmsford, we have two Cub Scout Packs, providing an enjoyable and balanced programme of activities for almost 50 young people. As well as activities and events within their own pack, the young people can also get involved in a variety of District Cub Scout Events as well as County Cub Scout Events such as Mega Camp.

Lyons Cub Scouts

Who are we?
Welcome to the Lyons Cub Scout pack. We are part of the 2nd Chelmsford (Springfield) Scout Group. We include boys and girls from 8 years old to about 10½ years old. The leaders are Richard Spencer, Phil Hoyle, Lyn Mclay-Kidd, Sarah England, Mark Watson, and helped by the parents.

When do we meet?
We meet every Wednesday during school terms in the headquarters on Lawn Lane, between 6.45pm and 8.15pm.

Bishops Cub Scouts

The Bishops pack meet on a Friday night and currently have over 20 members. The current term's programme includes several activities including a trip to the local Police Helicopter.
